Mimosa Eco Retreat is located on the Bawley Point Road which turns off the Princess Highway at Termeil.

This pet-friendly paradise is nestled on 25 acres, just a short drive to stunning beaches, lakes, state forests and national parks.

Set in a private and peaceful landscape, minutes to glittering beaches, lakes and national and marine parks. Have a campfire under the stars or an indoor fire.

Four fully equipped cottages are privately nestled in the landscape to make you feel far from the hustle and bustle, although close to everything you might need for a wonderful getaway. They are far enough away from each other for privacy, in a landscape of natural beauty with abundant flora and fauna.

Mimosa Eco Retreat provides you with eco-friendly soaps, shampoos and detergents which will not harm you or the environment. There are native and Protea wildflowers in abundance.

All linen, towels and bedding are supplied.

Their village ‘Bawley Point’ is just a five-minute drive, and all along the coastline from Meroo National Park to Murramarang National Park and west to Brooman State Forest, Pidgeon House Mountain (Didthul) and Monolith Valley and the Clyde River are all accessible with their central location.

They have a great selection of restaurants and cafes, a winery, IGA, Liquor, Pharmacy, Newsagency, Bakery, Beauty and many other services in the area.

Leading slightly away from the old settler’s cottage theme of Billabong and Cooee cottages, Kiah is a more modern version built from corrugated iron. This delightful and comfortable cottage is perfect for two couples or a family of four or five.

It has two queen rooms and two ensuites. Overlooking frog hollow, you will enjoy views of surrounding bush land and distant hills. Fully equipped for any length of stay, comfort, peace and tranquility exude from this cottage. Ambience ensues with a slow combustion fire, barbecue on the fully fenced veranda and a camp fire for cooler seasons.

Luxury Linen and towels are included, as well as Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper and starters of Tea, Coffee, Milk, Sugar and essential toiletry items.

Brand new flat screen television with in built DVD, HDMI and USB ports, a blue tooth wireless music system and a compact disc player. Pet Friendly.

Billabong Cottage is a romantic little one bedroom cottage situated next to its own large billabong. This fully equipped cottage with a cathedral ceiling has everything you need for a romantic escape.

Designed to represent the Australian settler’s cottage, unique and cosy, the fully fenced veranda overlooks the water. Surrounded by bush and tucked in neatly, it’s a private little oasis with a slow combustion fire, barbecue with side burner and private outdoor fire pit to enjoy a campfire in the cooler months. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach.

Luxury Linen and bath towels are provided. Bring your own beach towels.

It features a super comfy King bed, brand new flat screen television with in built DVD player, HDMI and USB ports CD player and a blue tooth wireless music system. Romance for the romantics. Perfect for two, can sleep up to four.

Cooee Cottage sits next to its own billabong. Furnished in Vintage Chic, this little settlers cottage is super cute and comfy (vintage chic furniture indoor photos coming soon). The fully fenced veranda overlooks the billabong. Cook your dinner on the barbecue, enjoy time together sitting around the outdoor setting and enjoy a campfire in the cooler months, all while overlooking the water. Enjoy a rinse in the outdoor shower after the beach.

Currently set up with one queen bed and one double bed, luxury linen and towels are provided. The cottage is fully equipped with a slow combustion fire, flat screen television with in built DVD player, HDMI and USB ports, CD player and a blue tooth music system.

Built for four, can sleep up to five at a squeeze with a trundle bed. Soak up some good old fashioned Aussie culture with all the mod cons.

The local birdlife will know you have arrived and will likely visit looking for a sunflower seed or a grape or two.

Corroboree Cottage is perfect for families or larger groups. Enjoy fun times with family and friends. Two queen bedrooms and one room with two single beds this cottage easily sleeps six – eight with the sofa bed in the lounge.

Luxury Linen and Bath towels are supplied. Bring your own beach towels. Port-a-Cot available on request.

With cathedral ceilings, full size kitchen, large lounge, dining and veranda including barbecue, all overlooking the private billabong with a jetty, and campfire fire pit, what more could you want for a holiday with your loved ones.

Towards the back of the property total privacy is assured. There are open spaces for the kids to run around and a large fenced deck to enjoy meals overlooking the billabong. Rinse off under the outdoor shower after the beach, swing in the hammock, rock in the rocking chair or dine on the veranda. It brings to mind the song…there is a home amongst the gum trees…with an old rocking chair..

Bliss and back to nature, gorgeous flora and fauna, all while being close to the most beautiful beaches and national parks in the world.
