A visit to the Kilikanoon Cellar Door is an essential experience when exploring South Australia’s renowned Clare Valley wine region. Recognised as a Halliday 5 Red Star Winery since 2008 and named Australia’s Best Producer eight times at the prestigious Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Awards, Kilikanoon is a benchmark of excellence in Australian winemaking.

Located in a beautifully preserved 1860s farmhouse in Penwortham, the Cellar Door offers a relaxed yet refined setting to discover the wines of the Clare Valley. Guests can enjoy intimate tastings beside the wood fire or take in sweeping views across the Skilly Valley and the Tregea Vineyard from the terrace.

Visitors can choose from a range of guided tasting experiences. The Discovery Tasting introduces four wines from the portfolio, while the Adventurer Tasting features six wines for those wishing to explore more deeply.

For a truly memorable experience, the Revelation Tasting offers an exclusive opportunity to discover the pinnacle of the Kilikanoon collection. Hosted in a private tasting room, this curated experience showcases the acclaimed Revelation wine alongside five exceptional cellar selections.

Each tasting is hosted by knowledgeable wine educators who share the stories behind the wines, the history of the estate, and the distinctive terroir that shapes Kilikanoon’s acclaimed Clare Valley wines.

Families and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
