MISC – which stands for miscellaneous – is a café that celebrates a mixed bag of local produce, through delicious dishes that take you on a trip around the globe for breakfast and lunch. Menus are playfully divided into A Bit of This, A Bit of That, A Bit More and A Bit on The Side, with many of the smaller dishes designed to be shared.
In the morning, this equates to pea and zucchini fritters, hot-smoked trout with dill, gourmet mushroom toasties and spanakopita, perhaps, with excellent coffee, smoothies and homemade iced tea on the side. For lunch, you might order picky bits: smoked labneh, housemade focaccia, sardine and truffled salami. Then move onto more substantial dishes including a roasted half chicken or barramundi atop fennel salad. The lunchtime cocktails should not be missed – there’s even a margherita tray.
