Take the five minute walk from Station Street in Central Tilba for a rewarding panoramic view of the town, surrounding region and Montague Island.
The best views can be achieved by walking north once you’ve reached the water tower. The granite plateau is ideal for setting up your camera or you can even spread out a picnic blanket and simply sit back and enjoy the views of Mother Gulaga.
Be sure to shut the gates that you open to stop wayward animals from entering the tower precinct and take care not to get too close to the edge as the lookout is not fenced and the rocks can be a bit slippery when wet.
