Ross Farm is a thoughtfully restored boutique accommodation set in the rolling hills of South Gippsland. What began as a rundown property has been reimagined into a collection of three distinct architectural stays – the Cabin, the Barn, and the Dairy – each handcrafted with care and a deep connection to place.
Located in the township of Meeniyan, Ross Farm is ideally positioned for exploring nearby beaches, national parks, and the broader Gippsland region, or simply staying put to unwind, reconnect, and settle in. Guests can choose from one to three bedroom stays, each with its own character and sense of space. Extras like locally prepared meals, massage, and seasonal add-ons are available to enrich your stay.

Cabin
The Cabin has been designed and hand crafted by local makers to provide you with a unique accommodation experience, complete with Japanese inspired wooden Bath. It also includes many other hand crafted elements that have been designed and made especially for the space.
A full kitchen and basic larder are there for your use, including welcoming supply of local staples. There is also Veggie garden that you are welcome to help yourself to. Ross Farm also have resident Hens on the property who provide fresh daily eggs.
Other features include deck to watch the sunsets, outdoor shower and barbecue.
Barn
Inspired by the beautiful Wilson’s Prom, pink granite wraps the bathroom, and also forms the kitchen.
The heart of the space is anchored by a rusted steel spiral staircase. Made from OSB, rusted steel, brass and granite, the Barn is perfect for a family or a few friends.
Dairy
The Dairy is dark and moody, with a palette of raw concrete, dark ply, blackened steel and silver travertine.
The interior layout wraps around a central courtyard originally the old cattle yard, with views out to the surrounding south gippsland hills.
