Travel through the Wilochra Plains and learn about the farming history and early train history as they pass by the remains of towns from times gone by.

Visit the outback town of Hawker then onto the Moralana Scenic Drive – one of the most picturesque drives in the region – with an abundance of kangaroos, emus and birdlife – stopping along the way for morning tea under the gum trees.

Next is the stunning landscapes of Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges – amazing ancient geological rock formations and Archeaocyatha Fossil (530 million years old!) and breathtaking views. And if they are lucky you may spot the rare Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby.

During this tour they will complete a journey around the outside of Wilpena Pound – see its beauty from every side and learn about its formation and history.

Operates: Any day on demand, (minimum two passengers) departing from Quorn at 8am to 4-5pm approximately.

On this tour we will complete a circuit around the base of Wilpena Pound and view it from many different angles.
