A Good Laugh closes its debut season at the magnificent Mount Barker Town Hall.

From 5pm, live music spills onto the street and The Barker Pub serves out into the evening air. Come early, soak it up, and settle in for the biggest night of the festival.

Damian Callinan MC’s the Gala — acclaimed comedian, actor and writer, three-time Melbourne Comedy Festival nominee and best known for Skithouse, Backyard Ashes and The Merger, which took Best Film and Best Screenplay at the IF Awards.

Nona Mona — comedian, washed-up burlesque star, found under a pile of cats and sequined gowns. Agreed to this gig for a jar of Nutella. RAW Comedy State Finalist, Weekly Fringe Award Winner.

Kevin Kropinyeri — one of Australia’s most established Aboriginal comedians, proud Ngarrindjeri man. High-energy, sharp and genuinely silly, mixing observational stand-up with joyfully ridiculous physical comedy.

Lori Bell — better known as Granny Flaps. Vast repertoire, infectious enthusiasm and decades perfecting the perverse. Even prudes will revel in her dirty little secrets.

Closing the Gala — Alex Ward. Regular panellist on Have You Been Paying Attention? writer on The Weekly, Big Brother and Guy Mont-Spelling Bee. Whip-smart, dry, warm and refreshingly real.

Coarse language and adult themes. Recommended 15+.

Presented by Bamboozled Productions, supported by Mount Barker District Council.
