Join donkeys Agatha and Winsome for a walking wine tour in the McLaren Vale Wine Region. On Sunday mornings regular tours journey through vineyards, where you can taste wines and delight in beautiful views. All accompanied by local winemaker and viticulturalist Jodie Armstrong, who is happy to share her extensive knowledge of wine making, vineyards, a passion for food and wine and her love of the region. Tours vary to encompass the season, growth stages of vines and winemaking activities as well as the weather.
Through out the year a range of extended tours are offered to celebrate seasons, winter solstice and mothers day. Bespoke tours can be designed to include picnics or long table lunches.
Donkey walking is a relaxed and happy activity with a memorable difference.

Journey Home Wines
Journey Home Wines make wine and journey with donkeys in the McLaren Vale Wine Region. One of Australians premier wine regions McLaren Vale is 45 minutes south of Adelaide.
Well-known winemaker and viticulturalist Jodie Armstrong leads small group tours (2-10 people) on walking wine tours accompanied by her donkeys Agatha and Winsome. Participants amble along picturesque tracks, through vineyards, and take in wonderful views all whilst learning about the local region, its culture and winemaking. Wine tastings focus on discovering high-caliber local talent.
Regular Sunday morning tours occur each week of the year. Additionally, special events are held to celebrate each season.
