Afloat is a floating restaurant and bar and seasonal entertainment precinct located in the heart of Melbourne’s city centre.
An ever-evolving hospitality venture, Afloat comes to life on the North Bank of the Yarra River (Birrarung) annually between September and June. With each season’s reopening, the venue undergoes a complete refit, unveiling a brand new theme annually.
Designed to emulate some of the world’s most exotic international destinations, each new theme is embraced through the venue’s interior and design, food and beverage offerings, and music and entertainment programming.
For the 2025-26 season, Afloat is embracing all the rhythm, colour and flavour of the marvellous city of Rio de Janeiro.
