Join Jessie from Yarra Valley Stargazing as she shows you the stars on a night sky tour in the Yarra Valley, which is just a one hour drive from Melbourne’s city centre.
You’ll learn how to find south, draw constellations, hear awesome stories of the stars, then look through my high powered telescope to see deep space objects which are not visible to the naked eye. Think the craters of the moon, the rings around Saturn, sparkling star clusters and nebulae (star forming regions). Many of these objects are only visible in the Southern Hemisphere.
If you’re looking for expert guidance to better understand the night sky, look no further. No previous Astronomy experience necessary. Check the website to book on to an upcoming public night sky tour in the Yarra Valley.
For private stargazing session enquiries, email Southern Sky tours with the dates you have in mind and the number of guests that will be attending.
