Started by two friends in 2017, Amber Lane Distillery is now an international award-winning single malt whisky distillery (winning two gold medals at the World Whiskies Awards 2023). The quality comes not just from the enthusiasm and hard work of owners but from the beautiful copper still by the name of The Mary Rose and the seasoned barrels sourced from premium producers like Pedro Ximenez and Kentucky Bourbon producers.
To experience the whisky at its best, drop in for a distillery open day where you’ll meet the distillers and taste straight from the barrel. The distillery opens on Saturdays (but not every weekend, check the website first). Whether you’re an interested novice or a whisky obsessive, you can also bring the distillery to you with a bespoke tasting at your workplace, home or hotel.
