After you have completed this pool session, you can also book an additional Discover Scuba dive off the beach or out on our dive boats.
Prerequisites: you will need to pass a medical questionnaire and be able to swim 200m in open water.
This experience is organized on request, please call the shop to schedule your pool and ocean dives.
Swim with Whales and Seals
The Jervis Bay Marine Park is one of the few places you can swim with Humpback Whales during their annual migration. The Humpback whales will pass Jervis Bay on their way north to mate and give birth in warmer waters and then again on their way south to their summer home in the Antarctic. During this period, they run Swim with Whales and Seals trips in June-July and September-early November. They also visit the local seal colony where possible too. Join in for this special chance to swim with these incredible giants!
General Boat Trip
Running boat trips in the Jervis Bay Marine Park. With access to over 65 Dive Sites and everything you need to snorkel or scuba dive around the Bay.
The general boat trips are around four to five hours, with a skipper and an in-water dive guide for the divers. Leaving from Huskisson Wharf you will head out into Jervis Bay to visit two dive sites.
The sites are chosen on the day by the Skipper and Dive Master depending on the weather, visibility, and skill level of the group.
PADI Open Water Diver Course
PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

This commonly covers Peak Buoyancy, Night and Underwater Naturalist or Search and Recovery, but your instructor is open to any specialty you may be interested in. For every adventure dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI specialty certifications.
Here are a few of the many options offered: Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, and Wreck Diver.
