Explore the Macedon Regional Park, home to over 400 species of native plants and 200 species of birds, and check out the spectacular view from the Memorial Cross at the summit of Mount Macedon. And Mount Macedon Village, with its grand homes and gardens, is well worth a visit, particularly during the Open Gardens months of April and November.

A 15-minute drive will take you to the picturesque gold rush town of Trentham, located on the edge of the Wombat State Forest, where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery at Trentham Falls, the longest single drop waterfall in Victoria, plunging some 32 metres over basalt columns. Then pay a visit to the famous RedBeard Bakery and Café, with its nineteenth-century, wood-fired Scotch oven and delicious sourdough goodies.
