Since 1946, the Bermagui Fishermen’s Co-operative has been the heart of this seaside town, being a major supplier to Sydney Fish Market, Melbourne Seafood Centre, local and export buyers.
Today, that legacy lives on at the Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf, a stunning harbourside precinct financed and spear- headed into construction by Managing Director Rocco Lagana (Current) and Co-operative members. Completed in 2009 and crafted from locally sourced spotted gum timber, this landmark perfectly blends coastal style with community spirit.
Wander the wharf and discover a vibrant mix of cafés, restaurants, Retail boutique, real estate services, or the Local Art Gallery — Bermagui Fishermens Co-operative is a destination for all ages and interests.
Treat yourself to breakfast or lunch at Octopii Restaurant or Sundeck Café, where standout coffee, house-baked cakes, and delicious menu options are served with panoramic waterfront views.
Indulge in locally sourced Fish & Chips from Bluewave Seafood, enjoy handmade delicacies from the Bermagui Gelati Clinic, and sip made-to-order cocktails at The Harbar. For dinner, savour the bold Asian fusion flavours of ONYA Restaurant or the Mediterranean-inspired dishes at Octopii.
