This tour is all about showcasing the best that McLaren Vale has to offer (and that’s probably not the wineries you’d expect).
Upon arriving in the gorgeous beach-side suburb of Moana, you will be greeted by the sound and scent of the ocean. We will then take a scenic and leisurely ride to McLaren Vale where you will begin your tastings. Once the wine begins flowing, your bikes will be swapped for a van and Luke will guide you to the best wineries, breweries and distilleries in the Vale.

Gone AWOL
At Gone AWOL, guests will be immersed in the beauty of the Wine Coast of McLaren Vale. Luke Harris (founder of Gone AWOL), aims to share his passions of wine, the outdoors and the ocean with his guests. Tours include stand up paddle boarding, electric bike rides, dining and wine tastings. If you’d like to do a combo of all, or just a wine tour, Gone AWOL has you covered.
Luke has lived in the McLaren Vale area since 1976 and will take you to places that only a local can find. It’s time to go AWOL!
