Black Rock Retreat offers discerning visitors luxury accommodations on the northwest coast of Tasmania. Perched 100 metres above sea level in beautiful rural surroundings, the newly built Black Rock Retreat gives guests unsurpassed sea views of the coastline. It is within easy travelling distance of the two main coastal towns of Burnie (a ten-minute drive) and Devonport (a 35-minute drive).
The accommodation looks down to the ocean where the earliest European settlers first came ashore. They used the “Black Rock” which can be seen clearly in the water at low tide as their landing jetty.
Black Rock Retreat offers intimate and private designer accommodation for up to four people with a full breakfast provided.
Lie in bed and admire the sunrise or watch the eagles ride the updrafts. Have a sip of Tasmanian wine in the spa to relax or enjoy some wellness therapy provided by a qualified remedial masseur.
