As one of the smallest vessels and a luxury sailing catamaran, you will experience the trip of a lifetime. See the whales eye to eye and listen as your skipper shares his 35 years of experience working with marine mammals. A whale immersive platform for those who wish to see a whale eye to eye underwater.
Carrying a maximum of 24 people, your day on Blue Dolphin will be an intimate and personal tour. Take your time, slow down and take an enjoyable day to see the whales. The Blue Dolphin is a modern luxury 38 foot sailing catamaran, offering wide flat decks and room for all to see. WiFi available and hydrophone onboard.
The full day tour includes morning tea, lunch (with a drink included), and afternoon tea. Eco-adventure and Sunset Sails operate outside of the whale season. Their quality and experience sets them apart from the rest.

Blue Dolphin Marine Tours
Blue Dolphin Marine Tours is Hervey Bay’s leading eco-tour operator. Whales, Dolphins and Sunset Sails on the waters beside the World Heritage-listed K’gari (formerly Fraser Island).
Operating an 11.6 metre sailing catamaran and with over 35 years of experience with marine mammals, their multi-award-winning tours operate all year round.
Be one of the few, not the many. A full day whale encounter with low passenger numbers and the chance to try the in-water platform to see a whale underwater is a highlight of the year.
They offer a half-day morning cruise to see dolphins, turtles and dugongs. The chance for swimming and boom netting during the Summer months.
A Sunset Sail with drinks is the best way to finish your day in Hervey Bay.
