Bowral Honey Farm
Bowral Honey Farm, located on the grounds of a beautiful historic property in the Southern Highlands region of NSW is just 1.5 hours drive from Sydney. As part of their visit, guests enjoy morning tea on the terrace looking out across the private lake and rolling hills.
Unique, educational, and immersive agritourism experiences are available for groups of up to 80 guests. More than just a working honey farm, guests can enjoy pure honey tastings with different floral sources, learn about the lifecycle of a honeybee colony and a modern hive, and discover the art and craft of beekeeping alongside an enthusiastic and engaged beekeeper.
Guests are provided professional sting-proof safety gear to observe the hives and bees up close, allowing for great photo opportunities. Owner and head beekeeper Hamish Ta-mé is an enthusiastic and passionate communicator, with years of experience and formal qualifications in beekeeping and teaching.
