The Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum was established in 1964 and covers approximately 167 hectares overlooking the beautiful and majestic Lake Burrendong. The arboretum is dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s unique and incredibly diverse flora.
A warm invitation is extended to all locals and visitors to visit the Botanic Garden and Arboretum to experience one of the largest collections of Australian plants in cultivation. Over 50,000 flowering plants, shrubs and trees from more than 2,000 species are on display.
