Kungkas Can Cook
Kungkas Can Cook offer immersive bushfoods and cultural experiences in Central Australia. Based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), the business connects visitors to Country through guided tours, traditional knowledge sharing and authentic bushfood tastings.
Visitors join Aboriginal guides on walks through sacred sites such as the Larapinta Trail and Simpson Gap. Along the way, they learn about native plants, seasonal bushfoods and ancient survival techniques. Each tour includes stories passed down over generations, blending cultural knowledge with food experiences.
Guests learn how bush ingredients are foraged, prepared and transformed such as quandong jam; bush tomato chutney and native spice rubs are showcased in cooking demonstrations and tastings.
