Capricorn Caves – Tours
Capricorn Caves is an Advanced Eco-Tourism attraction located in Rockhampton with daily departures of small-group nature-based experiences.
The Cathedral Cave Tour is a 45-minute experience designed to gain an insight into the natural history of the caves, spot endangered species, and take a moment to pause in the breathtaking Cathedral Cave. Great for those with limited time.
Led by local guides, the Capricorn Explorer (max 10 pax) and the Capricorn Adventurer (max 8 pax) are both experiences that allow guests to visit sections of the system that take you off the main walkways and into the most incredibly beautiful and spectacular caves.
Tours operate daily from 9 am to 2 pm, Tour times vary daily, please check the booking screen for availability.
After your tour, enjoy a bite to eat from the kiosk or cool off with a swim in the pool. The visitor center provides fascinating information about the local geology, bats, and community history.
