The East Coast is known for its excellent fishing opportunities including all types of species. Sport fishing on board ‘Keen Angler’ might just see you land an impressive sized bream or anything from a garfish squid, Australian salmon, flathead or king fish.

Keen Angler Charters does bay and reef or game fishing and sightseeing tours on Tasmania’s east coast. Nearly all year round with weather permitting. Join skipper Lionel aboard ‘Keen Angler’ for a fishing adventure departing from Burns bay boat ramp St Helens and the first fishing ground is 10 minutes away to get you onto your first fish. Offering half and full-day charters.
Whether you are experienced or a holiday angler, Lionel will cater the tour to your needs. Bay, game or reef fishing tours – the choice is yours. They aim to please and make it a memorable holiday memory for you.
The vessel is fully tourism accredited, and a comfortable survey built fully equipped built for the purpose ‘Steber Persuader.’ Children are allowed from 6 years old only. High-quality gear is provided for each person’s use. Any catch will be cleaned and bagged for you. They also supply sunscreen and light refreshments, including hot/cold drinks, biscuits or cakes. The vessel includes toilet facilities.
