Come Sing Handel
Discover the grandeur of Handel in 2026!
Explore the richness of the world of classical choral performance at Come Sing Handel, a short workshop at the 2026 Festival of Voices.
Led by renowned choral director Dr Elizabeth Scott, this opportunity invites singers to come together for two inspiring sessions exploring some of Handel’s most thrilling and iconic works. Repertoire will include Zadok the Priest (from the Coronation Anthems) and the rousing Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah.
Across the two workshop sessions, participants will rehearse these celebrated choruses before participating in the major choral concert at Federation Concert Hall with the Hobart Chamber Orchestra.
See the schedule below for full workshop and performance details. After registering, singers will receive further information and a digital copy of the music for the selected works. Participants will need to print a copy of their music and have their own black folder for rehearsal and performance.
