Curraweena House is a retreat venue suitable for upto 10 guests and includes a yoga barn, fire pit and massage room. With overflow accommodation next door for an additional 7 guests. This is a boutique short stay heritage destination in the lovely rural village of Kurrajong. It is an ideal weekend away that is only one hour’s drive from Sydney.
Self-contained, self catering accommodation with style. Curraweena House was established in 1920. This heritage home has been lovingly restored featuring modern conveniences. It is set on nearly one acre of evergreen gardens featuring beautiful stonework with a cottage garden feel.
Curraweena House is exclusively yours whether you are one guest or eleven. Their beautiful renovated barn is suitable for yoga retreats and events are subject to different rates but they welcome enquiries.

Curraweena House Retreat Venue
Curraweena House is a rural retreat venue that oozes timeless old warm charm yet it presents the brand new with a ‘Hamptons feel’ offering all the finishes that you would expect from a quality home. Decorated and maintained to a very high standard.
French doors open onto a wide veranda, perfecto relax and soak up the atmosphere or share a meal in one of two alfresco areas which showcase the gardens and offer views of the foothills of Kurrajong and surrounding acreage. The property features a barn perfect for art, personal development, craft and wellness retreats (yoga studio).
The home has five bedrooms, each room can be set up with a double or two single beds.
Located in rural Kurrajong at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, 70 minutes drive from Sydney, 45 minutes drive from Parramatta, 40 minutes drive from The Hills District and 30 minutes from Penrith.
