In 2023, Currawong Beach Cottages underwent a significant refurbishment that included updates to the heritage-listed properties, enhancing the cottages with modern facilities.

This restoration used contemporary materials designed to match and respect the original fabric while creating a level of comfort and safety. The cottages now boast log burners, beautiful decks and barbecue facilities.
