Getting out and about with a local Barra guide can be a great way to learn about fishing the harbours and river systems in and around Darwin, such as Darwin Harbour, Bynoe Harbour, Dundee Beach, Shady Camp, The Finniss and Little Finniss rivers, Finniss Fresh, Corroboree Billabong, Leaders Creek and Saltwater Arm to name a few.
Day trips or extended trips are available to all of the above locations. You can even fish a different location each day on an extended Fishing Escape.
You are picked up and dropped off to your Darwin home, with morning tea, lunch and cold water all included in the price. All high quality rods, reels and tackle is provided for the trip.

Estuary Escapes Fishing Charters
Brian Hutchinson welcomes you to the owner operated personal fishing escapes business. An experience of a lifetime for your next fishing escape in the Northern Territory.
Estuary Escapes offers half and full day fishing escapes in the Darwin region, as well as extended escapes throughout the year, targeting Barramundi and other tropical estuary and sports fish species.
Estuary Escapes, a fun day on the water from novice anglers to the experienced. They teach inexperienced anglers how to fish with a variety of tackle and techniques.
Estuary Escapes Fishing Charters hold a fishing tour operators licence for the Northern Territory and safety is the priority in remote fishing escapes.
Barramundi runoff escapes are available from late February to May with other escapes available for the rest of the year to early December, depending on the wet season.
Travel in the comfort of a custom-built boat – MV Reel Escape, a Sea Adex Typhoon 6 designed to target barramundi and other estuary sports fish.
