Operation information

Crocodylus Park

Crocodylus Park & Zoo, located only 15 minutes from Darwin’s CBD, gives you a full NT outback experience in the city.

It is the place to come face to face with the largest reptiles. The park plays host to over a thousand crocodiles from hatchlings to massive adults.

Built upon 30 years of experience in crocodile research and conservation, a must see while visiting the NT. Professor Grahame Webb, one of Australia’s world-known zoologists opened Crocodylus Park in 1994. Although it started as a crocodile research and education centre, it has now expanded to become the only zoo in the NT with exotic and native animals including big cats, birds, primates and other reptiles, plus a museum.

There are daily crocodile feeding tours and you get a chance at feeding one of the big guys and then hold a baby croc. Most unique is the guided daily boat cruise for an ultimate NT eco experience where you can see crocodiles from the wild living in their own river.

Crocodylus Park is easily accessible by bus or by taxi. There is also parking available for caravans and coaches.
