Downhill Run Camping is located due west of Robertstown at the peak of the hills, a beautiful spot for caravans, campers, tents and swags. Spanning 50 acres the campsite offers breath taking views of the entire valley and is located directly on the lavender walking trail. There is a shared basic long drop toilet located near the south site but feel free to bring self contained units or find a nice tree! The campsites are located at the top of the hills in a pasture paddock so please make sure your dogs are on leashes at all times. The 2 sites are separated by a fair distance so there is plenty of room to enjoy for everyone even with large groups. A perfect spot to pitch a tent and admire the beautiful starry nights on the secluded hilltop The Clare and Barossa Valleys are only a short 45 minute drive away if you’re interested in a day out at the wineries. Or the lovely historic town of Burra is a 30 minute drive.
