The East Wynyard foreshore runs along the Old Bass Highway to the mouth of the Inglis River, where it is linked to Gutteridge Gardens. A vibrant recreational space enjoyed by both locals and visitors and a sensory garden filled with fragrant herbs, textured plants and features of sound and touch, encouraging gentle connection with nature.
Facilities include a gym equipment, picnic areas, recently upgraded public toilets featuring beautifully painted murals, disabled facilities, electric barbecues and seating with historical information along the winding pathway of the foreshore. The foreshore is also home to the Wynyard Foreshore market which is on the first and third Sunday of each month.
