Led by owner Bec, a national SUP surfing champion, the passionate team combines skill, local knowledge, and storytelling to create more than just a paddle – it’s a lasting memory.
Operating seven days a week, including magical after dark sessions, SUP Shellharbour provides all equipment. Simply bring essentials like sunscreen, a towel, and water. With options from gentle paddles to SUP surfing, expect fun, fitness, and smiles and photos to prove it!

Take your stand-up paddleboarding experience to the next level with SUP surfing at Stand Up Paddle Boarding Shellharbour. Perfect for confident paddlers ready to feel the thrill of catching waves, this experience blends paddling with the excitement of surfing—no prior surf experience required!
Led by national SUP surfing champion and owner, Bec, sessions are tailored to your ability, ensuring a supportive and empowering environment. You’ll learn essential techniques like wave selection, feet positioning, and how to safely ride your first waves. Whether you’re looking to build confidence or master new skills, the friendly and experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way.
Lessons operate at suitable beginner-intermediate locations, depending on weather and conditions, always prioritising safety and fun. All equipment is provided, including a selection of fibreglass SUP surfboards. If you want to use your own fibreglass SUP, please use promo code “OWNSUP” for a $10 discount. Wetsuit hire is available for just $10.

One-on-One or Private Group SUP
A one hour private Stand Up Paddle Boarding lesson for just you or just your group of up to eight. Individual private lessons can be booked online or contact them to book a private group. Instructed with a Surfing Australia accredited instructor/trainer. Includes board, paddle and digital photography.
Group SUP
A one hour Stand Up Paddle Boarding experience with an ASI accredited instructor/trainer. Great for first timers or experienced paddle boarders. Includes board and paddle. Book up to eight people per session.
Night SUP
A 1-hour Night SUP experience! Come for an after dark SUP experience. Instructors will fit specialized underwater lighting to your paddle board to illuminate your way.
As the daylight fades, the underwater world comes alive. This safe paddle boarding activity enables you to see fish and sting rays in their natural environment.
