Explore the vast ancient landscape of Flinders Ranges: rugged landform, unique geology and ephemeral wildflowers. Travel into Wilpena Pound, (known by its Adnyamathanha name of Ikara, meaning meeting place), a phenomenal natural amphitheatre. Wildflowers, Mallees and White Cypress dominate the rugged landscape in Bunyeroo Valley and Brachina Gorge. See the famous Cazneaux Tree, a solitary river red gum made famous by Australian photographer Harold Cazneaux.
