SA Historic Motoring Festival and Centennial Grand Prix experience
The festival celebrates South Australia’s motorsport heritage. It connects iconic locations with historic vehicles and live experiences.
The Centennial Grand Prix experience takes place as part of the festival on 26 and 27 September. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Centennial Grand Prix. The event is held within the Port Elliott and Victor Harbor area and reflects the original seaside street circuit from 1936.
Saturday features a quarter mile sprint program. Vehicles complete short runs in a controlled format.
Sunday showcases a full street circuit experience. Cars from various eras take to the original 1936 circuit. Visitors can line the streets and watch the action from multiple vantage points. Access is also available to pit areas and family zones around the circuit.
