The farm is a 12-acre working property with 250 metres of Paddys River as the rear boundary. It is situated 18 kilometres from the wonderful town of Tumbarumba.
The property is built on the principles of regenerative agriculture, self-sufficiency and sustainable living. Freedom Glen features a small orchard with a berry growing area, vegetable garden and native foods. The farm also breeds and sells Dorper sheep at certain times of the year.
The main crop is growing chemical-free Italian purple garlic. Harvest is in December and then processed into the farm’s main product Black Garlic that is sold locally.
The location is ideal for adventurers wishing to explore the beautiful western side of the NSW Snowy Mountains and beyond with hiking, biking, fishing and snow opportunities available as easy day trips.
The modern cottage is equipped with everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable. The accommodation can sleep up to four persons in two bedrooms with one Queen-sized bed and two King singles.
