Our tours are exclusive and take no more than four people. We design our tours to suit your interests and the time you have available. So if you want to catch a wave, take a dip, ride a mountain bike trail, take some photos or see more of our beautiful island we can take you.
Many people find driving on Tasmania’s winding gravel roads a challenge and did you know that you are unable to take most hire vehicles on gravel roads? No need to worry, with our fully guided tours all you need to do is to sit back, escape, explore and enjoy.

Pristine white beaches with lichen covered orange rocks are just one of the highlights to be seen. We can take you anywhere but specialise in tours of the North East of Tasmania. These tours can include taking in spectacular views beaches and lighthouse , or exploring the hinterlands rain forests and waterfalls, checking out big trees and nature, driving through picturesque farming villages, taking wine and cheese trails, finding out more about the mining history and so much more. Our highly experienced local guide has much knowledge of the area that he is happy to share along with some secret spots.

The aim of Tas4x4 Tours is to share this remarkable region in a relaxed and personal way, while removing the stress of navigating unfamiliar or gravel roads. Guests can sit back, unwind, and fully immerse in the experience, creating lasting memories.
Tours operate year-round, with each season offering distinct natural beauty — from crisp coastal days and dramatic winter skies to vibrant summer colours and quiet, uncrowded landscapes.
Tas4x4 Tours specialises in private, fully guided half-day and full-day experiences, showcasing the very best of the Bay of Fires — renowned for pristine white beaches, crystal-clear waters, and striking orange lichen-covered rocks. Tours also include access to hidden locations such as waterfalls, lush rainforests, and remote coastal scenery.
Each tour is exclusively for a single booking group, ensuring a personalised and flexible experience. A maximum of four guests is recommended for optimal comfort.
An experienced local guide provides extensive regional knowledge and safe, confident driving. Many visitors discover locations that would otherwise remain unknown.
Tours can be tailored to individual interests, including photography, relaxation, exploration, or nature-based experiences.
Convenient door-to-door service is available for guests staying locally, with alternative meeting arrangements also offered.
