Incorporating the original features including the gaol cells, doors and pit-sawn timbers this heritage listed property is located just a short walk from Waub’s Bay Beach with its crystal-clear waters and rock pools.

Relax by the open fire in winter or enjoy summer days at the beach located only two minutes’ walk. From here you can walk along the rocks in both directions, to Diamond Island or the Blow Hole.  A small kitchen has all the amenities, and the property has a separate dining room, lounge, toilet with separate shower located in the original gaol cells.

The Gaol House Cottage is in an ideal location in the heart of Bicheno. Waub’s Bay, local shops and beautiful cafes are a short walk from the accommodation. There are numerous beautiful local attractions that are recommended including Diamond Island, Waubs Bay, Bicheno, Bicheno Penguin Tours, Bicheno foreshore walk, Bicheno Blowhole, Denison Beach and the Porches, Douglas-Apsley National Park, Freycinet National Park, and Wineglass Bay.
