The School House was Bicheno’s original Primary School, from 1935 to 1958, this beautiful timber building provides all the comforts of home and can accommodate up to four people.
Ideal for families, the open plan layout of the ground floor is suitable for wheelchair access. There is a queen bed downstairs and two single beds on a mezzanine floor. The fully equipped kitchen and lounge room are heated by an electric heater. There is a panel heater on the bedroom wall, and all beds have electric blankets.
The School House is in an ideal location in the heart of Bicheno. Waub’s Bay, local shops and beautiful cafes are a short walk from the accommodation.
There are numerous beautiful local attractions that are recommended including Diamond Island, Waubs Bay, Bicheno, Bicheno Penguin Tours, Bicheno foreshore walk, Bicheno Blowhole, Denison Beach and the Porches, Douglas-Apsley National Park, Freycinet National Park, and Wineglass Bay.
Recommended local food and wine options include the Lobster Shack, Governors Bicheno, Little Bay Patisserie, Waubs Harbour Whisky Distillery, Devils Corner Vineyard, and Springvale Vineyard.

Bathrooms dimensions must be no less than 2000mm X 2500mm. Have a hobless (step free) shower recess. Shower recess must have at least 1100 x 1100mm clear area for wheelchair access (no door). Have a slip resistant fold down seat or fixed seat in shower .Seat must be at least 900mm long.).
