McLaren Vale Distillery is a primarily a premium single malt whisky producer, but also make gin and fortified wines. Collaborations with some of Australia’s most respected and celebrated winemakers and brewers assist us in creating spirits of true provenance.

Awarded Brand Innovator of the year in 2018 by Icons of Whisky, the tasting room offers a Barley to Bottle experience hosted in the distillery where you are seated next to the large copper stills and talked through the process of whisky making. McLaren Vale Distillery whiskies are often finished in Muscat and Port casks and also offered on-site are fortified wine tastings.

Located on the northern end of McLaren Vale, with world-class views overlooking undulating vineyards, McLaren Vale Distillery is the perfect backdrop to enjoy unique tasting experiences and play host to special events and weddings.

Walk-in tasting experiences will be hosted if space allows, however the tasting room is quite small, so it’s recommended to pre-book so as not to miss out.

Spirits and fortified wines are available to purchase to take-away and there is a range of cocktails, wines and beer to enjoy onsite.
