Meaning ‘place of laughter’ in the local Indigenous language, Gindabara can sleep up to 24 people across four comfortable cottages.
Each cottage is equipped with either a kitchen or kitchenette, and a communal kitchen offers opportunities for guests to prepare meals together.
Also onsite is a communal hall with timber flooring, exquisite artworks and ample dining and lounge areas, while a communal kitchen allows guests to prepare meals together.
The property also boasts a games / multipurpose hall a communal laundry, external clothes line, spacious, well-maintained grounds, suitable for family cricket, with outdoor seating and a fire pit.
For that special gathering where extra space in a quiet environment is required, Gindabara provides a welcoming base and a multitude of relaxing, island adventures to explore.
While the property is self-catered, the hosts can assist with suggestions for local catering services if required.

Gindabara
Gindabara consists of four cabins and one heritage cottage.
The three identical cabins each have two bedrooms: one twin share; one double with king-size bed or twin share option.
The heritage cottage has one king-sized bed (with the option of splitting into 2 king singles) and a trundle in the sunroom that can form two single beds.
Actively welcomes people with access needs.
