$180 – $900
Hire options start at $180 for a 2-hour session, with full-day adventures and multi-boat packages available. Our largest option is the 3-boat full-day hire at $900, perfect for families, groups and island explorers wanting more time on the water.

GKI Boat Hire invites visitors to discover more of Great Keppel Island’s coastline with the fleet of 3 metre Polycraft Tuffy hire boats.

Known for their stability and easy handling, these triple hull vessels are perfect for families, couples and first time boaters looking for a relaxed, self guided day on the water. No boat licence is required. The hire zone gives guests access to a wide stretch of sheltered coastline, extending from Little Peninsula all the way around to Long Beach.

This range allows you to visit multiple beaches and calm bays, with the flexibility to choose your own route based on the day’s conditions. When the weather is suitable, hirers can also access Middle Island, an opportunity rarely offered in local hire operations and a highlight for those wanting to see more of the Keppel Group.

Before departure, every guest receives a full safety briefing and clear instructions on where it is safe to travel for the day, ensuring a comfortable and confident experience on the water. Each hire includes safety gear, fuel, anchor and an easy to follow map. With half day and full day options available, GKI Boat Hire provides a simple and enjoyable way to explore new parts of Great Keppel Island and enjoy its calm water environments at your own pace.
