See the greyhounds run! Richmond Race Club greyhound racing meetings are held on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Nights, Thursday mornings (straight track) throughout the entire season.
Free general admission to attend as a spectator. The Club has a restaurant, kiosk, coffee shop and bar and function facilities for the enjoyment of on-course patrons. Families are welcome and there is a playground for children.
The race track has a loam surface with a cable lure system in operation.
Race dates and times whilst they have a regular schedule can be subject to scheduling changes and weather conditions.
Richmond was issued its first Galloping and Trotting licence in December 1911 and the first meeting at the Londonderry track was conducted in 1912 and apart from the grimmest years of the Great Depression during 1931-35 when they did not function, the Club has continually staged racing events.
