Helen and Joey Estate Cellar Door is located within their sleek new venue, Re’em Yarra Valley, which is also home to a boutique hotel and one-hat restaurant.

The bright and airy cellar door is a welcoming setting for swirling and sipping through the estate-grown and estate-made wines.

For those wanting to experience the inner workings of the winery more intimately, the downstairs tasting room allows guests to sample Helen and Joey’s handmade premium wines amongst impressive oak barrels.

Descending the Art Deco staircase, guests are greeted by a garden of ferns and a custom-designed glass art installation by Melbourne artist Mark Douglas, leading through to the intimate 12-seat private tasting room.

Helen and Joey Estate has produced wines from the Spring Lane vineyard since 2012. Initially, all wines were made under contract at external sites. From the 2015 harvest, wine production began on-site in a small micro-winery built behind the original cellar door, a converted farm machinery shed. This facility allowed the team to process approximately a quarter of the grape production, with the remainder sent off-site.

This changed with the completion of a purpose-built winery in time for the 2022 harvest, enabling all estate-grown fruit to be processed on-site and marking a significant new chapter for Helen & Joey Estate.
