Born and raised in Tasmanian waters, the team at Eudaimonia Tasmanian Cycling Tours believe that Tasmania is best explored outdoors.

They think that riding along open roads, whether surrounded by trees, a body of water, or maybe nothing but your own breath, is the perfect way to find oneself; to appreciate our place on this earth and how much there is around us.

They want to help you step away from your everyday routine of work and scheduled rides and experience Tasmania in the best way known by the team; on two self-propelled wheels. They’re not here to tear each other to shreds (although in the right scenario, that is always a possibility). While they can’t guarantee tropical weather (or anything close for that matter), they’re here to find a balance between putting your feet up, relaxing by the pool and exploring what we have identified as the best parts of Tasmania.

Whether you have two hours or two weeks, they are here to do all the thinking for you.

From accommodation, route selection and the assurance of having a local to guide you along the way, they want you to experience the best Tassie has to offer.

They take pride in supporting rural communities and small businesses as a way of saying thank you to the amazing state in which they live.

Tour of Tasmania

Tour of Tasmania

They have designed an 11 day cycling experience all you have to do is bring your cycling gear and they take care of the rest.

With 8 guided rides, a floating sauna experience, some hiking at Cradle Mountain and Freycinet National Park and evenings spent over a glass of wine and good food, get ready to be pampered on this 11-day Tasmanian cycling experience.

Huon Valley Tour

Huon Valley Tour

This is our signature tour — a soulful 5-day ride through Tasmania’s lush Huon Valley. From island adventures to slow-paced orchard roads and epic highland climbs, the Huon Valley Tour can be as chill or as challenging as you want it to be. Ride it your way.

We include a restorative breathwork and contrast therapy session at the stunning Woodland Bay Retreat, surrounded by nature. Whether you’re here for the stillness or the sweat, this ride is about reconnecting — with Tasmania, with others, and with yourself.

Ultimate Gravel Tour of Tasmania

Ultimate Gravel Tour of Tasmania

Eudaimonia Tasmanian Cycling Tours is excited to offer a 7 day road and gravel tour of Tasmania. They kick off the first day with an epic summit of the famous Ben Lomond and Jacob’s Ladder. We follow an ‘off the beaten track’ route to Derby as well as traversing the Hydro focused Central Highlands.

With the emergence of the gravel scene in the cycling community and the endless forestry and back gravel roads in Tasmania, this tour is not to be missed.

Most of the gravel in Tassie is pretty tame, as such tyres with a minimum of 32 mm clearance and disc brakes will suffice, although please note that fatter tyres may be more comfortable. There are a number of steep sections on this route so be prepared to bring your best climbing legs to the party.

West Coast Tour of Tasmania

West Coast Tour of Tasmania

Eudaimonia Tasmanian Cycling Tours are excited to offer a comprehensive tour of the wild West Coast of Tasmania. The raw, the untouched, the untamed. Just a few words used to describe what your experience on the West Coast will look like. There’s nothing quite like it. Nothing they can prepare you for. And nothing quite as spectacular.

From almost becoming a ghost town such as the towns surrounding it, to now experiencing an injection of life, Queenstown is surrounded by dramatic hills that provide stark evidence of a history that once made it one of the richest mining towns in the world.

Meander Valley Tour

Meander Valley Tour

The Meander Valley region is located in the heart of Northern Tasmania and full of an array of quaint country towns and mountain ranges.

We are excited to present a comprehensive tour of a few of our favourite roads, bakery stops and wineries in a district well known for its agriculture.

Strathgordon

Strathgordon

Explorer Strathgordon and the surrounding dams and forestry history on a 3 day cycling experience around Strathgordon and the West Coast of Tasmania.

Tasmania’s South West is a land of imposing mountains, raging rivers, button-grass plains and ancient forests. It contains the state’s largest national park — the aptly named Southwest National Park — and it is as remote as it is wild. It is the region’s wild nature that makes it such an enticing destination for a cycling adventure.

This one is targeted toward the more intrepid adventurer. We will be taking a couple of forestry roads.

Kunanyi Challenge

Kunanyi Challenge

The Kunanyi Challenge is set in Hobart’s backyard with the event starting at the Longley International Pub, heading up Kunanyi (Mount Wellington).

There are two challenges to choose from; you can ride to the summit (21.6kms) or to the Spring (14.1km).

Cygnet Cycling Festival

Cygnet Cycling Festival

One of the most scenic and iconic events on the Tasmanian cycling calendar. A picturesque ride right in the heart of Cygnet with varying distances from a family friendly ride, a 26km social ride and a 60km road race. A unique and iconic event to challenge all levels of cyclists.

We are once again hosting the Tasmanian State Road Championships as part of the 2024 Hell of the South race.

A picturesque 60km race right in the heart of Cygnet. A unique and iconic event to challenge all levels of cyclists.

A local tradition run by Hobart Wheelers for over 20 years sees the competition take riders up gruelling hills, along the flowing coast and put their bike handling skills to the test on the infamous gravel section.

Whether a seasoned pro or weekend warrior, this is the one Tasmanian event that should never be missed.
