82 distinctive bathing boxes, a row of uniformly proportioned wooden structures lining the foreshore at Brighton Beach. The Brighton Bathing Boxes do have a lot of history behind them. In fact, they were built more than 100 years ago when Australians were a little more modest and were used by women for privacy when changing into their swimwear.
The bathing boxes remain almost unchanged, all retain classic Victorian architectural features with timber framing, weatherboards and corrugated iron roofs. Even today, the boxes don’t have running water or electricity, keeping with their 1800s style.

Around and About Tours
Around and About Tours offer you a truly unique touring experience as they take you exploring throughout the many interesting and exciting places Victoria has to offer.
If you are thinking about taking a holiday to Australia, Around and About specialise in small bus group day tours (11 passengers) and extended tours throughout Melbourne and Victoria.
By using small vehicles, they are able to get to spots that larger buses and coaches can’t access. It also means that they can give their passengers more attention, making their tour more enjoyable. They leave early in the morning, so they stay ahead of the traffic and avoid the crowds.
Their flagship product is the Ultimate 2 Day Great Ocean Road Tour. Around and About Tours cater for all ages on the tours, so great for the whole family. They offer over 20 different tours to choose from or you can design your own private tour. They provide free pick-ups from the city and St Kilda.
