Jabaljarri Arts & Merchandise offers a culturally rich, artistic escape nestled in the bush just outside Tennant Creek. A restful oasis for weary travellers, it the compound also has a 12 self-contained caravan parking spot set among peaceful native bushland — the perfect place to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
At the heart of the experience is the on-site art gallery, showcasing original works by Steven Jabaljarri Sutton — a proud Jawoyn artist and cultural custodian. The gallery is a living expression of Country, where visitors can explore dot paintings, crosshatch work, and storytelling woven through colour and canvas. Artworks are available for purchase, offering a tangible connection to the land and its stories.
In the evening, guests are invited to gather around the fire and hear Steve share the stories behind his art — stories of land, family, and spirit passed down through generations.
