Discover the story of Jack’s Magazine from its origins as an 1870s ammunition storage site to its transformation into a vibrant, heritage-listed cultural and events space. Normally closed to the public, Jack’s Magazine will open its doors for visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in its history.

Families and history lovers will enjoy guided tours and behind the scenes access to the gun power magazine areas. Children will take the lead with a fun QR discovery Trail, guiding parents and grandparents across the site as they uncover hidden stories. The day will also feature heritage vehicle displays, wildlife shows, puppet shows, pony rides, live music, food, face painters and other fun entertainment, with plenty of memorable, share worthy moments throughout the day.
