Kalaru Holiday Village is nestled on 12 peaceful acres with large, grassy sites for caravan and camping and self-contained cabin accommodation.
Facilities for campers include a well-maintained amenities block, laundry, camp kitchen and barbecues. There’s fun for the kids, including a playground and swimming pool, with plenty of space to ride their bikes.
Pet-friendly sites are available as well as a dog run for your furry friends to stretch their legs and socialise.
CJ’s cafe and takeaway is conveniently located at the entrance to the Park. Serving up hearty brekkies, classic burgers, fish and chips, and more. Freshly made salads, wraps and sandwiches are also available.
Kalaru Holiday Village is located five kilometres from Tathra Beach and less than 20 minutes from Bega and Merimbula – making it the most central park to all the attractions of the Sapphire Coast.

Large Ensuite Cabin
A self-contained older-style cabin with double bed and four singles (two sets of bunk beds). The cabin includes a large bathroom and lounge area complete with split-system air-conditioning and heating for a comfortable stay.
Gunyah Studio Unit
These are one bedroom fully self-contained units. These units feature a private deck with a two-person outdoor setting and ample room for vehicle parking at the back.
Each cabin has a spacious combined fully furnished living and dining area with flat-screen Television. The kitchenette is equipped with a cooktop, microwave and full-sized fridge as well as a toaster, tea and coffee-making facilities, and cooking and eating utensils. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and robe as well as an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower. All linen and towelling is provided.
Ensuite Cabin
A renovated self-contained cabin with double bed, kitchenette, lounge area, and bathroom. This cabin comes complete with split-system air-conditioning and heating for a comfortable stay.
Small Ensuite Cabin
This self-contained older-style cabin comes with a double bed and triple-bunk single beds. The cabin also comes complete with split-system air-conditioning and heating for a comfortable stay.
Standard Cabin
The standard cabin sleeps up to five people and is a budget-friendly, older-style one-room cabin including a self-contained kitchen with a stove and oven. The double bed and triple bunk all have linen included. The cabin also comes complete with split-system air-conditioning and heating for a comfortable stay.
Please note: Standard Cabins have a toilet but no shower. Shower facilities are located a short walk away in the shared amenities building.
Powered and Unpowered Sites
A selection of large powered and un-powered grass sites are available. The sites are large and level perfect for caravans and tents and are dog-friendly all year round (at the manager’s discretion – please let us know if you plan to bring a pet when booking).
For your comfort and convenience, a full camp kitchen is available with refrigerators, full cooking facilities and television.
