Kendalls Campground is in the Rubicon Valley Historic Area in the Rubicon State Forest, 2 hours drive north-east of Melbourne.
With plenty of space for tents, trailers and caravans, enjoy camping by the Rubicon River and exploring the area’s historic sites. The separated and open grassy areas along the river are suitable for both small and large groups.
This is a historically rich and naturally abundant region. Get out and explore the area by fishing, camping, mountain bike riding, bushwalking, horse riding and canoeing.
The river is accessible for fishing and paddling, with walking and mountain bike opportunities on the Kendall Link and Cicada Circuit trails.
This campground is seasonally closed after Kings Birthday long weekend (June) and reopens before Melbourne Cup weekend (November).
The traditional owners of this area are the Taungurung people.
