The Kiama Coast Walk is a spectacular 20-kilometre trail that begins at Minnamurra Train Station and winds its way south to Werri Lagoon in Gerringong. It offers dramatic ocean views, beach strolls, and a chance to explore the township of Kiama – including a stop at the famous Blowhole.

The route is a mix of sealed paths, grassed tracks and beach walks – however the hills are gentle enough for most levels of fitness. And the views – they’re nothing short of breathtaking.

Divided into three sections of roughly equal length, each offers a unique experience – from village charm to secluded headlands. Complete one, two, or all three – the choice is yours. Just bring a camera and your sense of adventure.

You’ll find route markers and interpretive signs along the way. The final stretch, from Loves Bay to Werri Lagoon, showcases rugged, untouched coastal beauty. Keep an eye out for whales (May to November), as well as sea eagles and hawks soaring overhead year-round.

Please note: In rare cases following heavy rain or big swells, Werri Lagoon may open to the sea, making it difficult to access Werri Beach. For updates, contact the Kiama Visitor Information Centre.
