Welcome to Kookaburra Retreat, a peaceful country escape set on seven acres of native bushland in Margaret River. Offering the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, this dog-friendly retreat is just minutes from white-sand beaches, world-class wineries, local galleries, and the vibrant town centre.
Blending rustic charm with modern comfort, the mud-brick and jarrah home features four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, ideal for families or groups of up to eight guests. Enjoy open-plan living with a large country kitchen, dining area, and cosy lounge with an open fireplace (wood provided).
Step outside to the wide wraparound verandah with outdoor dining, BBQ, and peaceful views of the shady yard, creek, and small fenced dam — a haven for kangaroos, possums, and native birdlife.
The home includes reverse-cycle air-conditioning, Wi-Fi (limited mobile signal), Smart TVs, and a laundry with washer, dryer, hairdryer, and iron. Fresh linen, towels, and starter essentials are provided.
Located just 10 minutes from Margaret River’s cafés, shops, and trails, Kookaburra Retreat offers easy access to beaches, forests, and top wineries — the perfect base for a relaxed family getaway surrounded by nature.
Please note: There is a fenced dam on the property. Children must be supervised at all times and are not permitted within the dam fence boundary.
