Established in 1882, the Largs Pier has long been an imposing landmark overlooking the Lefevre Peninsula. Its three-story bluestone structure with stuccoed arcades on all levels, elegant archways adorned by eagles with outstretched wings and its grand staircase, are all symbols of elegant craftsmanship from a bygone era.
But, beyond its aesthetic delight, the Largs Pier’s purpose was pragmatic and pure. For years it served as a haven for shore-hungry sailors and as a landmark to port. Ship captains could set a course by the lights of the hotel which could be easily seen far out to sea. It was a place of refuge and comfort and security.
Today, they honour this heritage by providing a modern twist on this haven by the shore. Today, the Largs Pier Hotel provide a sanctuary for guests seeking respite and reward. Rich surrounds, an envious locale and gastronomic delights are par for the course. But most important is the welcoming smile and shake of the hand, because in the words of W.B. Yeats “there are no strangers here; only friends you haven’t met yet”.

Queen Heritage Room
The Queen heritage room is located on the first or second floor of the heritage hotel. It features spacious, private rooms with high ceilings and thick walls. Access to the sea-facing balcony is through the hallway on the opposite side of the hotel. It has a Queen bed. Rollaway beds are available at an additional charge – refer to reception. Access is only via the Grand Staircase.
Deluxe Heritage Room
The Deluxe Heritage Room is a spacious room with high ceilings and thick walls. Elegant decor, located on the first or second floor of the heritage hotel. With this room type we have two rooms with direct sea views from your room & balcony access, while two have side sea views with direct balcony access (subject to availability). Queen bed. Rollaway on request at extra charge. Grand Staircase access only.
Motel Family Room
Large, motel family room located on the ground floor of the motel section of the hotel. Room consists of queen bed and king single. Rollaway on request. Boardwalks along the beach to Semaphore in one direction and North Haven the other. Children’s playground directly over the road.
Motel Queen Room
Motel queen room located on the ground floor consisting of queen bed. Very convenient and stylish accommodation for corporate and leisure guests who are looking for ready access to Port Adelaide from a comfortable and restful base.
